Prince George’s County, MD (September 20, 2023) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a truck accident that took place in Prince George’s County on Tuesday morning, September 19.
At around 4:55 a.m., the Maryland State Highway Administration reported that an automobile accident occurred on US Highway 50.
According to law enforcement, a tractor-trailer and a second vehicle collided on US Highway 50 in the area near Maryland Route 197. The impact of the crash caused the truck to overturn near exit 11, causing some delays in the area.
One person was injured due to the accident. Emergency officials responded to block the roadway as medical personnel tended to the victim. The injured party was transported to a local hospital for further care.
The crash is being investigated.
