Saline Co., MO (November 21, 2023) – A fatal truck crash reported in Saline County claimed the life of a 19-year-old male. The incident occurred at around 6:45 p.m. on November 19.
According to local law enforcement, a 19-year-old male was driving a Ford F-250 pickup truck on Interstate 70 during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, the vehicle collided with a guardrail on the side of the road near mile marker 74.6. The impact of the crash caused the man to be ejected from his vehicle.
The driver landed in the roadway, where he was struck by a semi-truck. The man was fatally injured. He was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash by the Saline County Coroner’s Office. The driver of the semi-truck, a 22-year-old from Arizona, was not injured. The crash is being investigated.
