We offer our condolences to the families of the two people who lost their lives in this accident.
More than 400 fatal truck accidents are reported every month in the United States. There are countless instances where innocent people die as a result of negligent and careless drivers. Speeding, intoxication, and distractions are just some of the top causes of these fatal accidents across our country.
When innocent people lose their lives as a result of fatal truck accidents, their families often have legal options available. After losing a loved one, your family has the ability to file a wrongful death claim against the responsible party. Working with a national truck accident lawyer can help you determine who is at fault for the crash.
Truck accidents tend to be more complex due to the fact that several parties can be held liable. If a truck driver is speeding or operating their vehicle in a reckless manner, they can be held liable for their actions. If a trucking company hired a truck driver that they knew was unqualified to operate the vehicle, they could also be held liable for an accident taking place. If a company failed to maintain the vehicle correctly, and a maintenance error or defect led to the accident taking place, they can be held liable as well. Other parties commonly identified in fatal truck crashes include cargo companies, government entities, and even part manufacturers.
Your attorney will be able to investigate the accident, identify who is liable, and take action against them quickly. They will help you get the financial resources that you need for the losses and damages you face.
