South Fayette Township, PA (September 17, 2023) – A man lost his life as a result of a pedestrian accident that occurred on Saturday and Allegheny County.
The accident occurred just before one p.m. on September 16.
According to reports from the Allegheny County dispatchers, a man was loading a flatbed trailer on Stonegate Drive during the afternoon hours. For unknown reasons, the truck backed up and struck the male pedestrian.
The man, identified as a 59-year-old, was severely injured. He was transported to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The crash is being investigated at this time by the South Fayette Township Police Department.
