Spring, TX – One Injured in I-45 Truck Wreck near Grand Parkway

Spring, TX (December 13, 2023) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Spring area. The accident was reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Spring Fire Department at around 8:50 a.m. on December 12.

According to reports, a box truck and a van collided on the northbound side of Interstate 45 during the morning hours. The incident caused delays in the area near Grand Parkway. At least one of the vehicles caught on fire as a result of the accident. The driver of the van became trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. One person was injured as a result of the crash and had to be transported to a local hospital for emergency care. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
