St Clair Township, MI (August 4, 2023) – The St Clair County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a 29-year-old man had lost his life following a truck accident in St Clair County on Wednesday, August 2.
At around 12:30 p.m., authorities were requested to assist on-site at a major truck crash that occurred on Range Road.
Preliminary crash reports indicate that a 2009 Buick Lucerne was heading northbound on Range Road when it became involved in a collision with a southbound semi-truck. The incident blocked multiple lanes on the road, prompting officials to shut down the roadway.
The driver of the Buick, identified as a 29-year-old man from St Clair Township, was fatally injured in the crash and pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck, identified as a 61-year-old man from Mt. Morris, was treated for minor injuries.
The incident is being investigated by the St Clair County Accident investigation Team.
