Statesville, NC (November 9, 2023) – A bus accident reported on Tuesday afternoon resulted in injuries.
The Statesville Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 3:45 p.m. on November 7.
According to reports, a school bus with the Iredell-Statesville School District was traveling through the area of East Broad Street and Phillips Lane. As the vehicle slowed down to make a stop while traveling westbound along Broad Street, a Ford F350 pickup truck, which was towing a large trailer, crashed into the rear of the bus.
One student on the bus suffered injuries and was transported to a local hospital for emergency care.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
