Tallahassee, FL (June 5, 2023) – One person was transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries following a truck crash that took place on Friday in the Tallahassee area.
During the evening hours on June 2, Florida Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of a crash on Interstate 10.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., a semi-truck tractor-trailer was involved in a collision with multiple other vehicles on the westbound side of the interstate. Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene and shut down the roadway near mile marker 198.
Emergency officials went to work quickly on providing care to the victims who suffered injuries.
Medics were called to care for injured victims. A 60-year-old man involved in the accident was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
