Tremonton, UT (September 6, 2023) – A 17-year-old student from the Bear River High School lost their life as a result of a truck accident that occurred on Tuesday morning, September 5.
According to official reports, a 17-year-old girl was riding a bicycle in the 1500 block of West Main Street in Tremonton. As she traveled down the roadway on the sidewalk, at around 6:00 a.m., a dump truck exiting a business parking lot struck her.
The girl was fatally injured and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in this accident.
The crash is currently being investigated.
