Warren County, VA (August 2, 2023) – A truck accident occurred on Tuesday evening in Warren County that left one person injured. The crash occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on August 2.
According to reports provided by the police, a tractor-trailer was traveling on Interstate 85 during the afternoon hours while transporting yogurt. For unknown reasons, the vehicle collided with a second semi-truck tractor-trailer, which was transporting laminate flooring.
Both vehicles came to rest near US Highway 401 when the truck carrying the yogurt caught on fire. The fire then spread to the second truck.
One driver was injured in the crash and had to be transported to a local hospital for medical care.
At this time, investigations are underway.
