Worcester Twp., PA (October 21, 2023) – A tanker truck collision reported in Worchester Township claimed the lives of two victims on October 21.
Reports provided by the Pennsylvania State Police indicate that a vehicle was traveling on Interstate 476 when it incurred a flat tire for unknown reasons. The vehicle was stopped on the Northeast extension as another driver assisted in changing the tire.
For unknown reasons, a tanker truck proceeded through the area and crashed into the two vehicles. The impact of the crash caused all three vehicles to burst into flames.
One person was transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, the crash is being investigated.
